So many amazing travel memories already! I love having this post to refer back to @Liz, starting around age 5 really feels like the Golden Age for travel!
Tips, Tricks & Travel Traditions…love all the reflections on travel with kids. Love reading each week! This issue was full of great information and insights!
I would love to travel more with my family but all this flying is SO bad for the environment, I just can’t in good conscience do it. Apparently the sustainable amount to fly is one short haul flight every 3 years or a long haul every 5 years so we stick to that as a maximum. Sure it’s great for kids to experience travel but not at the expense of them having a liveable planet as adults. And there are plenty of great ways to travel without flying so often anyway. We are UK based and taking the ferry to Europe for a camping trip this summer so my daughter won’t be missing out. And surely there is so much to see in the US without having to fly constantly!
Also as a Brit do not let a Welsh person hear you describe Wales as the “English countryside” 😬 they’re extremely proud of their national identity and rightly so!

My bad with the “English countryside” usage! So good to know, thank you 😬 I think I need to come for a visit and learn the proper terminology!
