Amelia - I know I texted you already about this ;) but oh my, I adore this piece. So well said, so beautifully reflected. It made me ache for my girlhood memories, with so much love in my heart for that time and that little Liz. And made me eager to hug my nieces, as well as want to reach out to my old friends. Bravo dear friend. I feel lucky to call you one of the best xo

Soooo in love with this Newsletter! Girlhood is a treasured time of life and Amelia’s writing shines a spotlight on that life moment sooo well.

The layers and layers of memories hit HOME for me as well!!!

Karli’s addition was beautiful and her writing transported me to another place and time!

Would love a copy of Karli’s bridesmaid’s toast!

Cheers to Girlhood, Growing Up & Life Long Friebdships!

Amelia! This is just beautiful 🥰 I love how you described snapshots of your own girlhood and shared the experience of watching your own daughters girlhood as is grows throughout her days. Way to go - so inspired by you!

Girlhood forever!!! I made wands with my daughter at her friend's birthday party yesterday, bedazzled with glitter glue and gems and little crystal flowers. She loves all things girly and is starting ballet this month! I'm so excited to watch her experience the magic of girlhood. And she is absolutely going to be intimately familiar with the Britney canon, my love (and many, many posters taped to my teenage bedroom wall) runs DEEP!

Fantastic essay and a great reminder that girlhood never really ends, it just changes form. xo

As your grandmother, I am trying to stay fit and I am in a class at the Y with a woman who remembers you and your sister riding bikes in the neighborhood. She asks me how you are doing and I say she is a wonderful mother of her own two children ages 6 and almost 9!

Enjoyed this post and loving the memories you wrote about.
