This post is soooo Well Done! The most valuable gift you can give your children on Birthdays and everyday is your Time! Amelia and Liz you are an inspiration because you carve out Time for your children along with juggling so many other family and personal things! I am in Boston and see it all first hand! Phew!

Happy Birthday Bunny is a cherished book & memory and I had to look up Silent Basketball!! Brilliant!

Building up the Birthday Moment with your children leading the way (other sibling having hands on decorating the kitchen) is a memory they will cherish forever! The children feel a part of the celebration ( especially on a YES day) and the parents can create and craft moments that will last forever in their minds!

Always so much fun to read along and to notice and enjoy each carefully crafted photo that takes me back in time!

Wow I'm exhausted just reading both of your rosters of celebrations happening - I hope you get to take a much-deserved breather after all of this!

My top birthday gift as of late is a gift membership to somewhere that the birthday kid and their fam can enjoy throughout the year. Almost everyone I know (myself included) is like please, no more plastic toys (that no matter how much you kindly decline the need for presents, they keep on showing up!). A friend gifted us a membership to a local children's museum when my oldest turned one, and it turned out to be one of the best gifts because we could enjoy it long after the party was through. I ended up renewing it each year, and now I've started to pay it forward to my friends and family and I always get such good feedback from parents! It's not always exciting for a kid to open an envelope, so I find you gotta throw a little something in there that coordinates with the present :)

Happy belated birthdays to your kiddos!! So fun to read all the traditions and past celebrations. Planning a special day with my now 6-year-old each year (no siblings allowed!) has been such a fun tradition and very HIM. We did the Monterey Bay Aquarium this year followed by his first-ever hotel stay (breakfast in bed included). It was a great day with much-needed quality time just with the three of us.

Also, can we be accountability partners on the annual birthday letters?! I've been planning to do that for...six years now lol
